What to expect

Our tour assistant will come to pick you up at your hotel/hostel for the tour.  


When all hotel pick up completed, we will start the tour. Our tour assistant will explain to you how to use the free audio guide provided with a detailed tour map. The first stop is Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Our tour assistant will help you to get the ticket, then you can start the tour by yourself. Our tour assistant is not tour guide. You have the option to use the in-house guide service at a cost charged by the Royal Palace, or you simply listen to our audio guide for free. The visit time at the palace and the pagoda is about 1 hour and 45 minutes.


Our tour assistant will wait for you at the exit of the pagoda when you finish the visit, then you will hop on the bus to the next stop National Museum.


At the museum, you have the option to buy their audio guide at a fee or just visit it by yourself. The visit time is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.


After 3 hours walking, it is time to take a rest and enjoy your lunch at the beautiful riverfront where you can find all kinds of restaurants and cafes offering different cuisine. (lunch is not included in the tour price)


After the lunch break, you will hop on the bus again and go to visit the first settlement of Phnom Penh, Wat Phnom where you might encounter some wild monkeys.


Then time for shopping at the Central Market, a landmark of Phnom Penh, where you can practice your bargaining skills.


Our last stop is Independence Monument and King Sihanouk Norodum Memorial, a perfect place for photo shoot.


Then our bus will drop you back to your hotel.

  • You must have a suitable level of fitness to take this tour as there is some walking.

  • It is your own risk to take this tour and you hold the full responsibility of your own wellbeing.

  • Please wear hat, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.

  • Dress Code (for men & women): Clothing must cover shoulders and knees. Scarf is not accepted as clothing.

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Not recommended for participants with back problems

  • Not recommended for participants with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions.

  • A moderate amount of walking is involved Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
